Less/ excess branch deals with P.R.35/7 reports which are received after the dispatch of wheat stocks. P.R.35/7 is document that is prepared after the final dispatch of stocks from a godown/plinth showing date wise quantity of stocks in a godown stocks moved out of the godown/plinths excess realized on the stocks. This branch also deals with the cases relating to shortage found during the physical verification of grains in the stored by the Department as well as court cases relating to shortage of wheat stocks.

 

Norms

 

Less excess branch fixed a norm of realization of excess @700 gram per qtl. For the stocks stored in open and @1kg. per qtl. For the stocks stored in covered godown. The field staff is bound to give excess as per these norms for the stocks moved. 1/8 within. I year of the last storage of stocks. A copy of the instructions dated 16-4-1999.
