1. Additional Director
  • To aid and assist the Government in running the day to day activities of the Department.
  • To examine the various reports and returns received from districts as per the laid down policy and to put up for decision.
  • To aid and advise the Government in formulation and implementation of various policies of the State Government related to the Department.
  • To aid and advise the Government to send recommendations and inputs to the Government of India for formulation of food grains related policies.
2. Joint Director
  • To aid and assist the Government in running the day to day activities of the Department.
  • To examine the various reports and returns received from the districts as per the laid down policy and to put up to the CFS/DFS for decision.
  • To aid and advise the Government in formulating and implementation of various policies related to the Department.
3. Deputy Director (HQ)
  • To aid and assist the Government in running the day to day activities of the Department.
  • To examine the various reports and returns received from the districts as per the laid down policy and to put up to the CFS/DFS for decision.
  • To aid and advise the Government in formulating and implementation of various policies related to the Department.
4. Assistant Director
  • To assist the branch Officer in discharge of his duties.
5. Controller, Finance and Accounts
  • To arrange for credit limit from the Banks.
  • To aid and assist the CFS/DFS regarding financial matters.
  • To aid and advise the Government in formulation and implementation of various finance related policies of the Department.
  • To prepare replies Audit Paras.
  • To prepare Balance Sheets and Reconciliation of Accounts.
6. Deputy Controller (F&A)
  • To assist CFA/ Director Food and Supplies on Financial matters.
7. Assistant Controller (F&A)/ AO
  • To assist CFA/ Director Food and Supplies on Financial matters.
8. Superintendent Grade-1
  • To aid and assist the Officer In charge of the branch in the day to day office work .
  • To examine the various reports and returns received from districts as per the laid down policy and put up to the branch officer.
9. Superintendent Grade-2
  • To aid and assist the branch officer
  • To examine the various reports and returns received from field as per the laid down policy and put up to the officer in charge.
10. Senior Assistant
  • To maintain office record.
  • To aid and assist Superintendent and officers in charge in the day to day office work.
  • To examine the various reports and returns received as per the laid down policy and put up to the Superintendent /branch officer.
11. Senior Auditor
  • To ensure the maintenance of accounts at Head Office and to deal and examine the Account reports/returns received from Field Offices.
12. Junior Auditors
  • To maintain the accounts related to procurement, storage and dispatch of food grains both at district level and at Head Office Level.
13. Inspectors
  • To assist the Officers in discharge of their duties.
14. Statistical Assistant
  • To maintain statistics related to procurement, storage & dispatch of food grains at Head Office.
15. Senior Assistant Accounts
  • To maintain the Cash book and compilation of figures received from the field units regarding procurement/storage/dispatch of food grains .
16. Legal Assistant
  • To Aid and assist the Department on legal matters
  • To Prepare reply of court cases.
